Our voluntary HOA, Northwood Hills Homeowners Association is gearing up for the 23rd Annual Northwood Hills Independence Day Parade. Northwood Hills is a special neighborhood nestled just north of LBJ Freeway, possibly “the best kept secret” in North Dallas.  This annual parade and associated festivities add to the feeling of Northwood Hills as one of the great Dallas neighborhoods.


Join us Monday, July 4th at Northwood Hills Elementary School decked out in your favorite red, white and blue!

 When: Monday, July 4, 2016   –   8 a.m. to noon

Where: Northwood Hills Elementary School

  • Set-up is Monday morning starting at 6:30 a.m.
  • Parade registration opens at 7:30 a.m. (Anyone can be in the Parade, but you must register and get an entry number in order to be considered for the judges’ prizes.)
  • Neighbor meet and greet, kids chalk art & bubbles, swag giveaways
  • Parade entries line up at 8:30 a.m., followed by our National Anthem and Pledge of Allegiance
  • Parade steps off at 9 a.m. from Northwood Hills Elementary and the route is approximately 30-40 minutes
  • Post-parade games/activities begin when the parade returns and continue until about noon.
